City-Owned Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations

The City of Laguna Niguel has six (6) Level 2 dual-port and one (1) Level 3 single-port electrical vehicle (EV) charging stations available for public use.  

The EV charging stations are located at:

  • City Hall
  • Crown Valley Community Center
  • Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Metrolink Station

Charging is allowed for a maximum time limit of three (3) hours with a 15-minute grace period1, with the exception of the EV charging stations located at the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Metrolink Station. Charging fees range from $0.25-$0.40 per kilowatt hour1. Overstay and Dwell Time fees1 apply.

Register to Use the City-Owned Electrical Vehicle (EV) Chargers

Users must register with ChargePoint before using a City-owned electrical vehicle charging station. The City recommends downloading the ChargePoint app to your iPhone or Android device before leaving home.
