  1. 50 in 50 Challenge

    September 1, 2020, 6:00 AM - October 20, 2020

    Challenge yourself to complete 50 miles in 50 days! Not a runner? Feel free to walk, skip, hop, or jump through 50 miles. Challenge begins on September 1 and goes through October 20. Want some competition? Challenge your friends to a 5K or 10K to include in your 50 miles. Once you've completed your 50 miles, email kgarcia@cityoflagunaniguel.org for a Certificate of Completion!

  2. Home Decorating Contests: Halloween Edition

    October 1, 2020 - October 18, 2020

    Trick out your home with SPOOKtacular treats! Bring out the witches, ghosts and bats to create a cute or creepy haunted home. A yard sign will be awarded to each winner in the following categories: Tricks & Treats (Best Display of Lights); Spooky Extravaganza (Scariest house), and Pumpkin-Tastic (Traditional Halloween/Fall). Entries are due October 18. A list of the winning homes, as well as a map, will be available on the City website from Wednesday, October 28 through Friday, October 30.

  3. Pool-Oween

    October 1, 2020 - October 31, 2020 @ Laguna Niguel Aquatics Center

    Celebrate Halloween in true So Cal style by tricking or treating your self to a water workout challenge with the Laguna Niguel Aquatics Center! Every Monday, we will post a workout for beginners (ghosts), intermediate (ghouls) and advanced (goblins) swimmers at the pool. Registration to participate is not required, simply choose what set is right for you. Lap swim registrations are required to use the pool.

  4. Cupcake Decorating Contest

    Join us for the great baking & decorating challenge right from your home kitchen! Bake a cupcake (or more), and show us your best decorating skills. Email a picture of your decorated cupcake to kgarcia@cityoflagunaniguel.org by Wednesday, October 14 at 5:00 pm. Judged categories include: -Outdoor Adventure -Faces of Quarantine -Sports Mania -FUNtastic All submissions must include the name of your creation, first & last name of participant, email, and phone number. Participants must be Laguna Niguel residents.

Here are some helpful tips to stay safe this Halloween season. Keep all decorations away from open flames, use battery-operated candles over regular candles. Do not block exits or doorways, check smoke alarms, and keep candles away from children. Using these fire safety tips will make sure that you and your family will have a fun and safe Halloween!
