I'm new to the area, I sold my car, or I need a replacement permit.

You will need to complete a permit parking request form, provide proof of residency and provide proof that your vehicle(s) is registered to a property within the permit parking district to obtain a permit parking decal.  

  • A copy of the permit parking request form is available on the City’s website (under How Do I? Apply For) and, email your completed form and the required documentation to pwadmin@cityoflagunaniguel.org. Residents may also apply in-person by visiting the Public Works Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall during regular business hours.   • If a replacement decal is issued, the old permit parking decal will be voided from the City’s permit parking database and will no longer be useable.
  • If you sold your car, you must notify the City and apply for a new parking permit decal for any new vehicle you may have purchased by submitting a permit parking request form and providing proof that your new vehicle is registered to a property within the permit parking district. 
    • The permit parking decal that had been issued for the sold car will be voided from the City’s permit parking database and will no longer be useable.
