South County Outreach, a nonprofit service organization, suffered devastating water damage to their food pantry and is in urgent need of non-perishables food items. A collection bin in the City Hall lobby, 30111 Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Niguel.

Korean War Veterans Eligible for Special Medal from South Korea

Veterans who served in Korea during June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953 or participated in United Nations peacekeeping operations through the end of 1955 are eligible for a medal from the Republic of Korea. The metal may be awarded posthumously.
