The City is now accepting applications for its 2018 Community Emergency Preparedness Academy. This free course is offered on eight consecutive Thursday nights beginning in February and ending in April. Some of the topics include:
Disaster First Aid
Light Search and Rescue
We utilize the nationally recognized Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) curriculum for class instruction. Students must be 18 years or older and able to commit to all eight classes in order to meet the course requirements. There are a limited number of seats available.
