Senior Nutrition Program
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels focuses on caring for individuals, whose diminished mobility makes it hard to shop for food, prepare meals or socialize with others. Due to COVID-19, Age Well Senior Services has worked to ensure all previously registered recipients of Meals on Wheels receive their food deliveries, with minor amendments, with no service disruption. At this time, new applicants are not being accepted for Meals on Wheels. However, temporary emergency delivery requests will be considered. Meals are prepared in the kitchens of their contracted caterers. A suggested donation of $9.00 is requested, although no one is turned away for inability to pay. For more information or to reserve an emergency meal, please contact the Age Well Nutrition Coordinator.
Congregate Meal Program (Ages 60 and over)
Due to COVID-19, Age Well Senior Services has temporarily closed all sites and the lunch program has temporarily been converted to a frozen meal “grab and go” program. Frozen meals are available on Monday through Friday starting at 11:00 am until supplies run out or 1:00 pm at the Sea Country Senior and Community Center on. A suggested donation of $5.50 is requested, although no one is turned away for inability to pay. For more information or to reserve your meal, please contact the Age Well Nutrition Coordinator.
