Residential Annual Resurfacing Program

Project Description:

This program is the maintenance of Citywide arterial and residential roadways per the Pavement Management Plan. The project includes various tasks such as traffic control, public outreach, minor crack sealing, and the application of Type II slurry seal. The added useful life of the rehabilitated roadway is 7 years.

Project Schedule for Zone 1 and 2:

  • Start of Project: June 14, 2021
  • Anticipated Completion: October 2021

The project started on Monday, June 14, 2021. As with any street construction project, slurry sealing causes public inconveniences such as traffic restrictions, street closures, construction noise, and loose gravel on street. In addition, slurry seals need time to stabilize. The City will proactively provide up-to-date information regarding this project in order to reduce the public inconveniences.
