Our Reputation & Dedication
The City of Laguna Niguel enjoys the reputation of being one of the safest cities in Orange County and had the lowest crime rate in the County in 1992, 1993 and 1994. The low rates can be attributed to a combination of factors including the level of contract law enforcement services, demographic makeup of the community, land use patterns, household income and education, private and gate-guarded communities, and an alert and involved public.
The City is dedicated in its crime fighting strategy, as well as maintaining an atmosphere of community. There are several programs available to residents and businesses in the City. Police Services encourages you to participate in our resources and aid in our endeavor to preserve the quality of life in Laguna Niguel.
